I am a photographer and recently I have started a YouTube channel. I have never needed to use any extra batteries with my Nikon D7000. I have been using this camera for quite some time now and the battery life is simply phenomenal, maybe because I do not use the flash ever. ''As I will be required to shoot more and more videos now I was wondering if I should get a battery pack or a new battery? The battery pack seems heavy and probably would be okay if all you are doing is shooting images but I guess it would not be the best idea when shooting vlog style videos with basically one hand.
