This wasn't a paid gig and was more unofficial photographer of the night but I loved how people interacted, wanted to see my shots and talked about cameras, was a really good evening but at the same time I really tried and actually struggled with the whole evening in terms of shots.Picture the scene, basement, low lighting with DJ with lights and dancing, kit d5600. The autofocus was a failure as it constantly focused way out and was happy, maybe due tot the lighting. So manual all evening. Wow, catching shots of moving people in focus with this lighting was a hard take. Does anyone have any tips.I ended up compromising and using ISO 8000 which I am not happy about but its the moment not the image quality thats essential.
