Ideas for things to shoot.

I have a Nikon D610, a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 and a Sigma 24-105 f/4. It seems that the gear certainly helps make my good photos better, but a good portion of them really suck (IMHO). I can afford decent gear (not trying to brag, I'm serious...really)...but I run out of ideas of things to shoot. What do you give as suggestions when running into a lull of ideas? I don't know if I'm a beginner, or just over-zelaous, but I have no set style.I don't dare put "so-and-so photography" on my photos because I'm not confident enough, but at what point did you decide your niche?
