I'm sick and tired of post-processing. Advice?

I usually enjoy the process of taking pictures a lot. Sometimes I can completely loose myself in the process, because I'm so submerged into it. Good times!I'm usually shooting RAW only and thus that means post-processing. When I started shooting RAW, approximately five years ago, I enjoyed having the freedom and flexibility to change, correct and sometimes restore otherwise useless shots. However since two years or so, I notice that I loath the post-processing more and more. I now have quite some pictures from events/holidays that I have never touched and shared. Very unfortunate.Another thing which does not help is that I recently switched from Windows to Ubuntu. On Windows I used Lightroom and now I have to find a suitable alternative. I've been playing around with some alternatives (Darktable, digiKam, RawTherapee), but I notice that I'm not motivated to learn another program. I think that mostly has to do with the fact that I don't want to do the post-processing, since some of the pictures I still have to process are from the time I used Lightroom. Furthermore most of the RAW processing programs have too many options and tweaks available. I think I'd rather improve my shooting skills than my processing skills. As a future solution I've thought about shooting RAW+jpeg and rely on the in-camera corrections for vignetting, highlight/shadow corrections etc. Or maybe I should buy another simpler, lighter, more portable camera to just focus on the shooting and bring it along more often. I now have a D600 with some lenses, but I usually leave it at home, because of its size and because of the inevitable post-processing.Currently I enjoy taking pictures the most with my iPhone. You can take a quick snapshot, do some optional easy post-processing, create quick HDR photo's and create fast panorama's. Great stuff! But on my phone I sometimes miss having the options to change shutter speed, aperture etc. to get some interesting effects. Also it is too bad it does not save the RAW files, in case I want to recover things from the shadows/highlights.Now I'm kind of stuck and was wondering if you guys have experienced something similar or have any advice? via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2tdkkR4
